The RAA279971D3HNP is an analogue HD video encoder designed for automotive applications. It accepts digital video inputs using a dual-channel MIPI-CSI2 or DVP/pseudo BT.656 parallel interface and supports a wide range of HD resolutions up to 720p/60 or 1080p/30. The RAA279971D3HNP uses a built-in 10-bit video DAC to encode the incoming video stream into a combined analogue format, which is transmitted as a single-ended or differential signal to the RAA279972 decoder over up to 30 metres of coaxial or STP cable.
