The LPC1549JBD100K is an ARM Cortex-M3 based microcontroller for embedded applications with a rich set of peripherals and very low power consumption.The ARM Cortex-M3 is a next-generation core that offers system enhancements such as enhanced debugging capabilities. The LPC1549JBD100K CPU operates at up to 72 MHz, integrates a 3-stage pipeline, and features a Harvard architecture with separate local instruction and data buses and a third bus for peripherals.

The LPC1549JBD100K includes up to 256 kB of Flash memory, 32 kB of ROM and 4 kB of EEPROM, and up to 36 kB of SRAM. peripheral additions include a full-speed USB 2.0 device, two SPI interfaces, three USARTs, a fast-mode Enhanced I2C bus interface, a C_CAN module, PWM and PWM controller, timer subsystem, and a third bus for peripherals.
