The LPC1788FET208 is an ARM Cortex-M3 based microcontroller for embedded applications requiring high integration and low power consumption.The LPC1788FET208 is a next-generation core that delivers higher performance than the ARM7 at the same clock frequency and features other system enhancements such as modern debugging capabilities and a higher level of support block integration. The LPC1788FET208 integrates a 3-stage pipeline with a Harvard architecture with separate local instruction and data buses, as well as a slightly lower performance third bus for peripherals, and peripherals.
The LPC1788FET208 adds a dedicated Flash accelerator for optimal performance when executing code from Flash memory, and operates at CPU frequencies up to 20MHz.
