The HMC3716LP4E is a digital phase discriminator with an operating frequency range of 10 to 1300MHz. It is suitable for low phase noise frequency synthesizer applications.

The HMC3716LP4E combines a high operating frequency with an extremely low phase noise floor to provide a synthesizer with a wide loop bandwidth and a low frequency division for fast switching and extremely low phase noise. When used in combination with a differential loop amplifier, the HMC3716LP4E can generate an output voltage for a phase-locked VCO as a reference oscillator.

The HMC3716LP4E has the following key features:
