The ADUC832BSZ is a high performance microcontroller unit primarily used for control and applications in various embedded systems ‌. The ADUC832BSZ generates a high frequency clock signal of 16.78 MHz through a 32 kHz crystal oscillator and an on-chip PLL. This clock signal is then relayed through a programmable clock divider, in which the MCU core clock operating frequency is generated.

The ADUC832BSZ microcontroller has an 8052 core, so the 8051 instruction set per machine cycle is compatible with 12 kernel clock cycles. 62 kB of non-volatile Flash/EE program memory is integrated on chip.
