The ADUC832BCPZ is a high-performance self-calibrating multi-channel 12-bit ADC, dual-channel 12-bit DAC, and programmable 8-bit MCU integrated in a single chip.

The ADUC832BCPZ generates a high frequency clock signal of 16.78 MHz through a 32 kHz crystal oscillator and an on-chip PLL. This clock signal is then relayed through a programmable clock divider, in which the MCU core clock operating frequency is generated.

The ADUC832BCPZ also includes additional analog capabilities, two 12-bit Dacs, a power monitor, and a band-gap voltage reference source.

The ADUC832BCPZ kernel is 8052, so the 8051 instruction set per machine cycle is compatible with 12 kernel clock cycles. 62 kB of non-volatile Flash/EE program memory is integrated on chip. Also integrated on chip are 4 kB of non-volatile Flash/EE data memory, 256 bytes of RAM, and 2 kB of extended RAM.
