The ADUC842BSZ62-5 is an 8052-core based 8-bit microcontroller with a 32 kHz crystal oscillator and an on-chip PLL that produces a programmable core clock of up to 16.78 MHz.

The ADUC842BSZ62-5 also includes additional analog capabilities, two 12-bit Dacs, a power monitor, and a band-gap voltage reference source. The on-chip digital peripherals include two 16-bit sigma-δ types. DAC, 1 dual-channel output 16-bit PWM, 1 watchdog timer, 1 time interval counter, 3 timers/counters and 3 serial I/O ports (SPI, I2C and UART).
