The LAN8671B1-E/U3B device is a compact, low-power, high-performance single-port 10BASE-T1S Ethernet physical layer transceiver. The use of standard Ethernet technology in sensor/actuator networks reduces application costs by eliminating the gateway required for traditional networking technologies. The ability to connect multiple physical machines to a common hybrid segment further saves implementation costs by reducing cabling and switch ports. The transceiver is designed for high-reliability, cost-sensitive industrial, backplane and building automation sensor/actuator applications.
