The S80KS5123GABHA020 512-Mb byte HYPERRAM™ device is a 1.8-volt array and I/O, synchronous self-refreshing dynamic RAM (DRAM). HYPERRAM™ devices provide an xSPI (octal) slave interface to the host system. xSPI (octal) interface has an 8-bit (1-byte) wide DDR data bus that uses only word-width (16-bit data) address boundaries. Read transactions provide 16 bits of data per clock cycle (8 bits for both clock edges). Write transactions fetch 16 bits of data in each clock cycle (8 bits on each clock edge).
