In order to provide higher speed and smaller size solutions on network devices and servers, Amphenol has developed SlimSAS™ low-profile connectors that efficiently support UPI 1.0, 11.2GT/s, 24Gb/s SAS signalling or 16GT/s PCIe® signalling. With a contact pitch of 0.60 mm, the Low Profile (LP) SlimSAS™ solution is denser than the leading connectors on the market today and saves space in the end device.LP SlimSAS™, also known as SlimSAS™ LP, is a series of sockets with a rugged metal housing and a latch locking plug for secure mounting on the PCB.
