Product Description

The TPS7A66-Q1 are low dropout linear regulators designed for operation at up to 40V Vin. With only 12µA quiescent current at no load, they are ideally suited for standby microprocessor control unit systems, especially in automotive applications. These devices have integrated short-circuit and overcurrent protection.

These devices implement a reset delay at power-up to indicate that the output voltage is stable and in regulation. One can program the delay with an external capacitor. The low voltage tracking feature allows the use of smaller input capacitors and may eliminate the need to use boost converters under cold start-up conditions. The operating temperature range of these devices is -40°C to 125°C.

The TPS7A6650EDGNRQ1 devices are AEC-Q100 Class 0 compliant and can operate over a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. These characteristics make the device ideally suited to power supplies for a variety of automotive applications.
