The STM32F217IEH6 microcontroller is based on a high-performance ARM® Cortex®-M3 32-bit RISC kernel and operates at frequencies up to 120MHz. The MCU integrates high-speed embedded memory (up to 512KB of flash memory, up to 132Kb of system SRAM), up to 4kb of backup SRAM, and a wide range of enhanced I/O and peripherals that connect to two APB buses, three AHB buses, and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix.

The device provides three 12-bit ADCs, two Dacs, one low-power RTC, 12 general-purpose 16-bit timers, including two PWM timers for motor control, and two general-purpose 32-bit timers. A true number random generator (RNG).
