The ASL1507SHNY is a single-phase boost converter IC with limp-home mode capability. It provides an SPI interface for extensive control and diagnostic communication with external microcontrollers and integrates a customer-programmable limp-home mode. When the SPI communication with the microcontroller fails, the driver IC allows configurable operations in emergency mode. Once a loss of SPI communication is detected, limp-home mode is activated.
