The YT8510C is an Ethernet physical layer transceiver (PHY) that complies with the IEEE 100BASE-TX/10BASE-Te and LRE100-1/LRE10-1 standards. Suitable for a wide range of enterprise applications, it is manufactured in a standard digital CMOS process and contains all the active circuitry to implement the physical layer functionality for transmitting and receiving data over CAT5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable. 

Supports 100BASE-TX/10BASE-Te standards and LRE100/10-1 functionality. Long Range Ethernet technology enables long link distances: 300m@100Mbps and 1000m@10Mbps (depending on cable type and specific cable parameters) over a pair of cables at either 100Mbps or 10Mbps transmission rates. 

When the YT8510 is connected to an IEEE 802.3-compliant PHY, the IEEE auto-negotiation mechanism should be activated and linked to the corresponding 100BASE-TX or 10BASE-Te rate.
