The TSC200IYST is a high voltage side current detection amplifier that provides an analogue voltage output. It can detect current over a wide common-mode voltage range with shunt resistors. It detects current over a wide common-mode voltage range of -16 to +80 V with shunt resistors regardless of the supply voltage. It has an amplification gain of 20 V/V. An integrated open-drain comparator with output latching and an internal 0.6 V voltage reference are connected to its input. An external resistor divider then sets the switching threshold. The device is available over a wide supply voltage range of 2.7 to 18 V and over the industrial temperature range of -40 to +125 °C. The device is also available with an external resistor divider to then set the switching threshold.
