The DLP2021AFQUQ1 automotive digital micromirror device (DMD) is designed for automotive exterior lighting control and display applications. Applications include ground projection for displaying full colour and animated and dynamic content. Ground projection facilitates vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) communications, such as reversing and door-open warnings, as well as coordinating vehicle communication systems and car personalisation options. Due to their small size and low operating power consumption, projectors with the DLP2021-Q1 chipset can support many projection applications. These projectors can be mounted in many locations on the vehicle, such as mirrors, doors, taillights, and front grilles.
