The MLX92215LUA-AEA-000-BU is a second-generation Hall-effect latch designed using mixed-signal CMOS technology. The device integrates a voltage regulator, a Hall sensor with an advanced offset cancellation system, and an open-drain output driver. Based on existing platforms, the core employs an improved offset cancellation system, resulting in a faster cancellation system that allows for faster processing and higher accuracy processing, while being temperature insensitive and stress free. In addition, a negative temperature coefficient has been incorporated to compensate for the natural magnet weakening with temperature which occurs when the magnet is weakened at elevated temperatures.
