The MMW9002KC is a highly integrated 5G 4-channel bi-directional analogue beamforming IC, digitally controlled via a high speed SPI bus. It has high bit phase and amplitude resolution. Each channel consists of a transmit chain (Tx) and a receive chain (Rx).Both Tx and Rx chains include phase shifters and variable gain amplifiers (VGAs). An on-chip power detector measures power levels on all RF antenna pins, and an SPI interface controls all device function registers. The device is available in a very small 4.39 mm × 3.59 mm × 0.5 mm package with 56 bumps.
