The RN4678APL-V/RM100 module is a fully certified, Bluetooth v5.0 compliant (BR/EDR/LE) dual mode module that allows customers to easily add dual mode Bluetooth wireless functionality to their products.The RN4678 is built around Microchip's IS1678 Bluetooth dual mode chip.

The RN4678 provides a convenient cable-based alternative to the Bluetooth protocol for data transfer and control of a smartphone or tablet. Data transfer is achieved via a Bluetooth link, sending or receiving data via SPP in Bluetooth (BT) classic mode and via a transparent UART in BLE mode. the ASCII interface provides an easy way to learn to operate and integrate the module with any microprocessor or microcontroller (MCU) that has a UART interface.
