The STM32MP157FAC1 device is a microprocessor IC based on a high-performance dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A7 32-bit RISC core in a 361 pin TFBGA package that operates at frequencies up to 800 MHz. The Cortex-A7 processor is a very power efficient application processor designed to deliver rich performance for high-end wearables as well as other low power embedded and consumer applications. It provides 20% more single-threaded performance than the Cortex-A5 and offers similar performance to the cortex-A9.
