The ADM2863EBRNZ are 5.7 kV rms signal and power isolated RS-485 transceivers. Designed for balanced transmission lines, these devices comply with ANSI/TIA/EIA-485-A-98 and ISO 8482:1987(E) standards. (Two small external 0402 ferrites are used on the isolated power and ground pins. The device incorporates a low electromagnetic interference (EMI), isolated DC-DC converter that eliminates the need for an external isolated power supply.
