The TMS320VC5510AZAV2 fixed-point digital signal processors are based on the TMS320C55x DSP CPU processor core. They use the C55x™ DSP architecture, which increases parallelism and focuses on reducing power dissipation, resulting in higher performance and lower power consumption.The CPUs support an internal bus architecture consisting of a programme bus, three data read buses, two data write buses, and additional buses dedicated to peripheral and DMA operations. These buses can perform up to three data reads and two data writes in a single cycle. When connected in parallel, the DMA controller can perform up to two data transfers per cycle independent of CPU operation.
