The RTL9210B-CG is a USB (Universal Serial Bus) bridge that combines USB devices with PCI Express (PCIe) controllers and SATA controllers. Through M.2 Mechanical's Pedet interface, the RTL9210B-CG can automatically switch between USB-to-pcie mode or USB-to-SATA mode.

RTL9210B-CG supports USB 3.1 Gen2 (Super Speed Enhanced Edition). It is compatible with USB 3.1 Gen1 (Ultra High speed), USB High speed and full speed. In the case of auxiliary power supply can work normally. Mass storage transactions support Batch Transfer Only (BOT) and the USB-Connected SCSI Protocol (UASP). For USB, it offers up to 10Gbps bandwidth.

The RTL9210B-CG is suitable for multiple market segments and emerging applications such as desktop, mobile, workstation, server, communication platform, and embedded applications.
