The PI2EQX22024XEAEX bidirectional retimer includes receiver adaptive CTLE and transmitter 3-tap equalization, which compensates for channel losses of up to -23dB for 5GHz signal transmission. The device provides the USB 3.2 standard for USB Type-C data mode operation. The operational configuration can be programmed via the I2C interface to select 1-channel USB3.2 Gen1x1/Gen2x1, 1/2 channel USB3.2 Gen1x1/Gen2x1, or USB3.2 Gen2x2.
