The ICE5BR3995CZ is a fifth generation fixed frequency integrated power supply IC (CoolSET™) optimised for offline switch-mode power supplies in cascade configurations.The CoolSET™ package contains two separate chips. The CoolSET™ package contains two separate chips, a controller chip and an 800 V / 950 V CoolMOS™ chip. The cascade configuration facilitates fast start-up. Frequency reduction through soft gate drive and frequency dithering operation reduces EMI and improves efficiency. Reduced EMI and improved efficiency between light load and 50% load. Selectable entry and exit from standby power ABM enables flexibility and ultra-low power consumption in standby mode with low and controlled output ripple.
