The Marvell® Alaska® V 88E1680-A2-LKJ2C000 is a highly integrated, ultra-low-power, eight-port 10/100/1000Mbps transceiver supporting Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) compliant with IEEE 802.3az. The Alaska V 88E1680 is a new Gigabit Ethernet transceiver that utilizes an innovative mixed-signal design that delivers the industry's highest performance and lowest power consumption in a thermally efficient, space-saving package. In addition to supporting EEE with next-generation MACs, the 88E1680 enables EEE with legacy or non-EEE MAC devices, which accelerates time-to-market for customers offering EEE complaint network solutions, allowing them to leverage existing hardware and software while saving development costs. In addition, the 88E1680 offers unprecedented cable length performance, enabling customers to deploy across a wide range of cabling infrastructures.
