The AS7221-BLGM CCT Tuned Intelligent Lighting Manager device is part of the ams AS722x/1x Intelligent Lighting Manager/Controller family of products that simplify tunable and environmentally friendly lighting design, enabling lights to "sense" and adapt to their surroundings and autonomously meet the demands of human-centered lighting and energy efficiency. Equipped with an advanced Cognitive Lighting Engine (CLE), the device enables optimization of white light chromaticity adjustment, daylight harvesting, and lumen maintenance through a combination of PWM and/or 0-10 V control and dimming ballasts. Direct connection to a local I/O network enables connection to standard occupancy sensors, dimmers, or communication bridges.

The AS7221-BLGM can be used directly in dimmable white light fixtures, replacement lamps (bulbs), and light engines/modules, or integrated directly into LED drivers through a simple lightguide implementation for a cost-competitive, high-precision cool/warm CCT regulation solution.
