The TPS630701RNMR is a high efficiency, low quiescent current buck-boost converter for applications where the input voltage is higher or lower than the output voltage. The output current can be as high as 2 A in both boost and buck modes.The buck-boost converter is based on a fixed-frequency, pulse-width modulated (PWM) controller with synchronous rectification for maximum efficiency. At low load currents, the converter enters a power save mode to maintain high efficiency over a wide range of load currents. The converter can be disabled to minimise battery consumption. The load is disconnected from the battery during shutdown. The device is available in a 2.5 mm x 3 mm QFN package.
