The LTC3309B is a very small, high efficiency, low noise, monolithic synchronous 6A step-down DC/DC converter with a 2.25V to 5.5V input power supply. The regulator is controlled using a constant frequency peak current mode at a switching frequency of 3MHz-10MHz, with a minimum turn-on time as low as 22 ns, allowing for fast transient responses via small external components. The Silent Switcher architecture significantly reduces EMI radiation.
