Product Description

The CC2640R2LRGZR device is a 2.4GHz wireless microcontroller (MCU) that supports low-power Bluetooth® 5.1 and proprietary 2.4GHz applications. The device is optimized for low-power wireless communications and advanced sensing in the medical, asset tracking, personal electronics, retail automation, and building automation markets, as well as applications requiring industrial performance. Highlighted features of the device include: 

- Support for Bluetooth ® 5.1 features: LE encoded PHY (long range), LE 2Mb PHY (high speed), broadcast extension, multiple broadcast sets, and backward compatibility and support for Bluetooth ® 5.0 and earlier low power specifications.

- The SimpleLink™ CC2640R2 Software Development Kit (SDK) comes with a fully qualified Bluetooth ® 5.1 software stack for application development on the powerful Arm® Cortex®-M3 processor. 

- Flash-based architecture with cryptographic gas pedals and on- and off-chip OAD. 

- Software-controlled, dedicated radio controller (Arm® Cortex®-M0) provides flexible, low-power RF transceiver functionality with support for multiple physical layers and RF standards.

- Excellent radio sensitivity and robustness (selectivity and blocking) performance for low-power Bluetooth® (-97dBm at 1Mbps PHY).
