The LT8698SJV-1 is A compact, high-efficiency, synchronous single-chip step-down switching regulator designed to provide up to 3 A power from an input voltage of up to 42 V to a 5 V USB VBUS rail. Programmable cable drop compensation maintains accurate 5V VBUS cable drop compensation adjustment even when the USB socket is separated from the LT8698S by a long cable, such as a car harness. Quiet switching technology and optional spread spectrum modulation provide ultra-low EMI/EMC.
