The AD5933WYRSZ is a high precision impedance converter system solution. It combines an on-board frequency generator with a 12-bit 1 MSPS analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). Frequency Generator The frequency generator allows excitation of an external complex impedance at a known frequency. The external complex impedance is excited at a known frequency. The response signal of the impedance is sampled and processed by the on-board DSP engine using the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT).The DFT algorithm returns a real (R) and imaginary (I) data word at each output frequency.
