The BTS500101LUA is a 1.0 mΩ single-channel intelligent high-side power switch in an 8-pin TO leadless package with protection and diagnostic features. It has a reverse conduction function to protect the device in case of reverse polarity (reverse battery). The power transistor is built from an N-channel power MOSFET with charge pump. It is designed to drive high current loads up to 42 A for applications such as heaters, glow plugs, fans and pumps in harsh automotive environments.
