The Microchip LAN8770RT-I/5KX is a compact, cost-effective, single-port 100BASE-T1 Ethernet physical layer transceiver that complies with the IEEE 802.3bw-2015 specification. The device provides 100 Mbit/s transmit and receive capability over a single unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable and supports cable lengths up to at least 15 m. The LAN8770 features a Class 1 automotive-grade (-40°C to +125°C) temperature range and is optimised for AEC- Q100 automotive use cases, such as automated driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment, telematics, smart antennas, and in-vehicle backbones.
