The TPS79633QDCQRQ1 is a family of low dropout (LDO), low power, linear voltage regulators featuring high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), ultra-low noise, fast soft-start, and excellent line and load transient response in a small form factor SOT223-6 package. Each device in this family is stable when operating with a small 1µF ceramic capacitor on the output. The series uses an advanced, proprietary BiCOMS manufacturing process to generate very low differential voltages (e.g. 250mV at 1A). Each device achieves a fast start-up time (approximately 50μs with a 0.001μF bypass capacitor) while consuming very low quiescent current (265μA typical). Furthermore, when the device is placed in standby mode, the supply current is reduced by at least 1μA. When using a 0.1μF bypass capacitor, applications such as portable RF electronics that use noise-sensitive analogue components benefit from high PSRR, low noise characteristics and fast response times.
