The TMAG5231A2DQDMRR low power Hall effect switch is designed to reduce total system cost in compact battery powered consumer and industrial applications. The device outputs a low voltage when the applied magnetic flux density exceeds the operating point (BOP) threshold. The output remains low until the flux density drops below the release point (BRP), after which the device outputs a high voltage. The omnipolar magnetic response allows the output to be sensitive to both north and south magnetic fields.
