The Broadcom® ACHS-7124-500E product is a fully integrated, isolated, linear current sensor device based on the Hall effect, designed for AC or DC current detection in industrial, commercial, and communications systems.The ACHS-7124-500E device consists of a precision, low offset, linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path located near the surface of the chip. The applied current flowing through the copper conduction path creates a magnetic field, which the Hall IC converts to a proportional voltage. The accuracy of the device is optimised because the magnetic signal is very close to the Hall sensor.
