The TPS929160QDCPRQ1 16-channel LED driver with FlexWire interface meets the growing demand for individual control of each LED string. Each device channel supports analogue dimming and pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming, configurable through its FlexWire serial interface. With internal electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM), users can configure the device to meet system-level security requirements during loss of communication.

The TPS929160QDCPRQ1 controls 8-bit output current and 12-bit PWM duty cycle. The device features open LED, short to ground, and single LED short diagnostics to meet a variety of regulation requirements. A configurable watchdog also automatically sets the fail-safe state in the event of loss of MCU connectivity. The TPS929160-Q1 can be flexibly configured for different application scenarios with the help of a programmable EEPROM.
