Product Description

The TPS568230 synchronous buck regulator has a high voltage input, high efficiency and integrated FETs. The TPS568230 features ULQ™ (Ultra Low Quiescent Current) for low bias current and high load operation. With the ULQ™ feature, battery life can be significantly extended during low power operation.

The TPS568230 has an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and can support internal and external soft-start time options. DCAP3™ control mode provides fast transient response, good line and load regulation without external compensation and supports low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors such as dedicated polymer and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors.

The device features OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP and UVLO protection, as well as power normal signal and output discharge functions. the MODE pin can be used to set Eco-mode™, OOA mode or FCCM mode for light load operation. the TPS568230 is available in a 20-pin, 3.0mm x 3.0mm HotRod™ package. The device is specified for a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
