February 22 - Intel will delay placing 3nm chip orders with TSMC until the fourth quarter of 2024, PC maker sources have revealed, according to Electronic Times.


PC industry sources said Intel's manufacturing process and PC platform blueprints have been frequently revised in recent years, and delays in product launches have severely disrupted the supply chain's production and marketing plans.


Intel's collaboration with TSMC on 3nm manufacturing will be delayed until the fourth quarter of 2024 to build GFX tiles for Arrow Lake, the sources said, adding that Panther Lake and Nova Lake are expected to launch in the third quarter of 2025 and 2026 respectively.
