December 4 - At last week's 2024 UNISOC Global Partner Conference Automotive Electronics Ecology Forum, UNISOC and SAIC Overseas Mobility entered into a strategic partnership to jointly launch the MG Hector, a production model of SAIC Overseas MG equipped with UNISOC A7870, which is the first 5G smart cockpit chip platform of its kind in the automotive industry.

UNISOC A7870 is its first automotive-grade 5G smart cockpit chip platform, configured with a 6nm processor, passing AEC-Q100 automotive-grade design, and supporting an operating temperature of -40-85℃. The chip integrates an octa-core processor architecture with 93K DMIPS CPU computing power; the GPU is NATT 4 core @850Mhz, supporting 486.4 GFLOPS floating-point operations; the NPU has 8TOPS arithmetic power, which can provide a strong platform foundation for customised smart cockpit scenarios.


The A7710 series UWB digital key solution platform was also released, which can be applied to a variety of intelligent automotive scenarios such as digital key, live body detection, kick radar, and automatic parking. The solution platform combines communication, positioning, sensing and other multiple functions, provides a full-stack development tool chain, and opens up software and hardware interfaces.
