TOSHIBA recently added four new products to the DCL54xx01 family of four-channel digital isolators, an innovative move that further expands TOSHIBA's portfolio in the high-speed, high-reliability digital isolator market. The series not only features high common mode transient transformation suppression (CMTI) and high-speed data transmission rates, but also enables flexible enable control through the output enable terminal, providing users with a variety of choices.

With the rapid development of industrial automation, automotive electronics, communication equipment and data centers, the demand for high-speed, high-reliability digital isolators is growing. Applications in these fields are often faced with complex electromagnetic environments and strict performance requirements, so the performance requirements for digital isolators are becoming higher and higher. The introduction of TOSHIBA's DCL54xx01 series digital isolators is designed to meet these market needs.

The DCL541H01 and DCL541L01 channels are configured as three forward channels and one reverse channel, which is suitable for application scenarios that require different channel configurations. The DCL542H01 and DCL542L01 channels are configured as two forward channels and two reverse channels. In addition to the six previously released products, the DCL54xx01 series now has a total of ten products, providing users with a wealth of enable control options and channel configuration options.

TOSHIBA's DCL54xx01 series digital isolators use a proprietary magnetic coupling isolated transmission method to achieve CMTI up to 100 kV/μs (minimum). This innovative technology effectively improves the signal isolation ability between the input/output in the environment of high electrical noise, ensuring the stable transmission of the control signal and the reliability of the equipment operation. At the same time, these digital isolators also feature low pulse width distortion of 0.8 ns (typical) and high-speed data transfer rates of up to 150 Mbps (maximum), making them ideal for applications requiring multi-channel high-speed communication, such as I/O interfaces with SPI communication.
