MediaTek has officially unveiled its new generation flagship chip, the Tiangui 9200, with the slogan "Cool Power, Full Speed" this afternoon.

According to the official introduction, MediaTek's Tiangui 9200 is said to be the industry's first processor to use TSMC's second-generation 4nm process, integrating 17 billion transistors.

The 9200 is equipped with a 3.05GHz Cortex-X3 super core, three 2.85GHz A715 large cores and four 1.8GHz A510 small cores, all of which support pure 64-bit applications.

The Breguet 9200 also has 8MB of Level 3 cache and 6MB of system cache, and the GPU is the Immortalis-G715 MC11.

Official tests claim that the Breguet 9200 offers 12% better single-core CPU performance, 10% better multi-core performance, 10% better heat dissipation and up to 25% lower power consumption for the same performance than the Breguet 9000's GeekBench 5 CPU.

In terms of GPU, the Breguet 9200 is the first to feature the Immortalis-G715 flagship GPU, which supports hardware ray tracing on mobile and offers 32% higher performance and 41% lower power consumption than the Breguet 9000 in GFXBench Manhattan 3.0.

In addition, the Breguet 9200 supports Variable Rate Rendering (VRS) technology, which improves frame rates by 10% and reduces power consumption by 21%.

As for the APU, the MediaTek Breguet 9200 features a 6th generation AI processor APU with 98% higher performance (VS.FP16), 15% lower power consumption (VS.wo/ NAS), 35% higher ETHZ performance and 45% more energy efficient video overscoring.

In addition, the MediaTek Breguet 9200 also supports LPDDR5X 8533Mbps memory, a 13% increase in bandwidth over the Breguet 9000, as well as 8-channel UFS 4.0 flash memory, which utilizes multi-loop queuing technology to give data transfers a significant speed boost.

Overall, the MediaTek Skyguard 9200 scores 1.26 million points on Rabbit, outperforming all current Android flagship phones.

In addition, the MediaTek Skyguard 9200 is equipped with Hyper Engine 6.0 gaming engine, which supports pixel-level real-time drag elimination, Wi-Fi latency down by a minimum of 54%, Bluetooth LE Audio latency down by a minimum of 53ms and speed up by 24%, intelligent frame stabilisation for "Original Gods" with a 63% reduction in frame rate jitter and 15% increase in average fps, MAGT game adaptive modulation technology The new product features a minimum power consumption reduction of 18% and a temperature reduction of 4°C.

In terms of communication, the MediaTek Skyguard 9200 integrates TSMC's 6nm wireless connectivity chip and introduces "5G New Dual-Pass" based on dual SIM mode, the first to support the upcoming Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity as well as Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth Audio LE Audio, covering global satellite signals.
