Description:

The AD4052 compact low-power easy-to-drive Continuous Approximation Register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is a versatile 16-bit device that enables a low-power, high-density data acquisition solution without compromising accuracy. These ADCs offer a unique balance between performance and power efficiency, as well as innovative features that seamlessly switch between high resolution and low power modes depending on the immediate needs of the system. AD4052 is ideally suited for compact, battery-powered data acquisition and edge detection applications.


The Easy Drive feature enables efficient analog front end (afe) design. These small sampling capacitors (3.4pF) maximize input impedance and reduce reliance on the high-bandwidth, power-hungry amplifiers typically required for SAR ADCs. The wide input common model envelope provides inherent support for differential and single-ended signals.


AD4052 microcontrollers with power-off mode and interrupt driver firmware are supported. The autonomous mode enables out-of-range event detection when the digital host sleeps.
