Product Introduction:
The MAX86165EFB is an ultra-low power, fully integrated optical data acquisition system. On the transmitter side, the MAX86165 has a programmable low noise LED driver with an IR transmitter. On the receiver side, the MAX86165 consists of a high-efficiency PIN photodiode and an optical readout channel. The optical readout channel features a low-noise signal conditioning analog front end (AFE) that includes a 20-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and industry-leading ambient light cancellation (ALC) circuit. Due to its low power consumption, compact size, ease of use and flexibility, the MAX86165 is ideal for use in a variety of optical sensing applications, such as heart rate detection and close detection in tight Spaces such as earplugs.
The MAX86165EFB is powered by a single supply of 2.7V to 5.5V VLED. Each device has a built-in 128-word FIFO. The MAX86165EFB is available in a 10-pin OLGA package with a size of 2mm x 2.5mm x 0.82mm and an operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC.
