The LM5168PDDAR is a Fly-Buck™ capable 6V to 120V wide input voltage, 300mA DC/DC converter.

Instructions:

The LM5168 synchronous buck converter is used to regulate over a wide input voltage range, minimizing the need for external surge suppression elements. The minimum controllable on-time of 50ns facilitates a large step-down conversion ratio, enabling direct step-down conversion from a 48V nominal input to a low voltage rail, reducing system complexity and solution costs. The LM516x is capable of operating at nearly 100% duty cycle when input voltage drops sharply to 6V, as required, making it ideal for industrial and high-count battery pack applications with a wide input voltage range.

With integrated high - and low-side power MOSFETs, the LM5168 delivers up to 0.3A output current. Constant on-time (COT) control architecture provides a nearly constant switching frequency with excellent load and line transient response.
