Overview

The OPA855QDSGRQ1 is a wideband low-noise operational amplifier with bipolar input, suitable for wideband transimpew and voltage amplifier applications. When this device is configured as a transresistive amplifier (TIA), the 8GHz gain-bandwidth product (GBWP) can achieve a high closed-loop bandwidth with a transresistive gain of up to tens of kilohms.


The OPA855QDSGRQ1 has been optimized to operate in an optical time-of-flight (ToF) system, where it is used in conjunction with a time converter such as the TDC7201. The OPA855QDSGRQ1 can be used in high-resolution lidar systems with differential output amplifiers (such as THS4541-Q1) to drive high-speed analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
