Overview

The ATtiny2313 is a low-power 8-bit CMOS microcontroller based on the enhanced AVR RISC architecture. Its advanced instruction set and single-cycle instruction execution capability enable it to deliver data throughput up to 1 MIPS/MHz, effectively solving the problem of balancing power consumption and processing speed. The AVR core features a rich instruction set and 32 general-purpose working registers, which are directly connected to the arithmetic logic Unit (ALU), allowing simultaneous access to two independent registers in one clock cycle, significantly improving code efficiency and data throughput up to 10 times higher than CISC microcontrollers.


The ATtiny2313 comes with 2K bytes of system-programmable Flash, 128 bytes of EEPROM, 128 bytes of SRAM, and 18 general-purpose I/O ports. It also comes with 32 general-purpose working registers, a single-wire interface for on-chip debugging, two timers/counters with comparison modes, support for serial programmable USART and a general-purpose serial interface with watchdog timers. In power saving mode, the CPU stops running while working in idle mode, but the SRAM, T/C, and interrupt systems remain active; In power-off mode, only the interrupt and hardware reset functions are suspended. In Standby mode, only the crystal oscillator operates, consuming very low current while guaranteeing fast start-up performance.
