The MPQ3326AGRE-AEC1 device is a 16-channel, 80mA/ channel, LED driver with independent PWM/ analog dimming and serial interface and is AEC-Q100 certified.

Overview:

The MPQ3326A is a 16-channel LED driver that operates in a wide input voltage (VIN) range from 4.5V to 16V. The MPQ3326A applies 16 internal current sources to each LED string terminal. The LED current (ILED) in each channel can be set by an external current setting resistor with a maximum current of 80mA per channel.

The MPQ3326A also integrates a serial interface that can be configured with up to 10 addresses via an external resistor. This means that the MPQ3326A can support up to 10 cascaded ics to drive the LED array. Each channel can be enabled or disabled via a serial interface. The MPQ3326A provides separate 12-bit pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming and 6-bit analog dimming for each LED channel. ILED slope and phase shift can be configured to reduce EMI. The MPQ3326A outputs the refresh signal via the RFSH/FLT pin, and the frequency of the refresh signal (fREFRESH) can be set via the serial interface.

The device offers a full range of protection features, including LED open circuit protection, LED short circuit protection and overtemperature protection (OTP), while also providing a fault indicator. Once the protection is triggered, the RFSH/FLT pin is pulled down and the corresponding fault register is set.
