The NXP MC33905 is a device in the second generation of the System Basis chip family, integrating a wide range of performance and enhanced module designs.

- As an advanced power management unit, the MC33905 is suitable for MCUs and additional ICs such as sensors and CAN transceivers.

- An enhanced high-speed CAN interface (ISO 11898-2 and -5) with local and bus fault diagnosis, protection functions and fail-safe operation mode is built-in.

- The SBC can contain 0, 1 or 2 LIN2.1 interfaces connected to LIN output pin switches

- Includes two or three wake-up input pins, which can be configured as output drivers for flexibility
